This self-initiated project allowed me to explore my personal design interests through a playful, unconventional lens. The piece features the phrase “Say Cheese” rendered inside a hyper-realistic mouth, with each letter carefully altered to resemble teeth. By transforming the typography into part of the illustration, I created a surreal and slightly unsettling visual that blurs the line between word and image.
This project was a creative exercise in pushing boundaries, combining humor, discomfort, and curiosity in a way that reflects my unique design voice. I’m drawn to work that feels wacky, and thought-provoking, and this piece is exactly that for me. It allowed me to experiment with form, realism, and conceptual visual storytelling while embracing the unconventional.
